Ophelia van het Poeleind is a 6-year-old mare by Thunder van de Zuuthoeve and Action-Breaker.
Ophelia is a very beautiful mare with great movements and a good rideability. She jumps with a good technique, jumps with a powerful push from the floor and finishes the jump excellently from behind. Bigger fences don’t seem to be an issue for Ophelia. She is a mare with a lot of power and attitude.
Ophelia van het Poeleind is sired by the great Thunder van de Zuuthoeve. He is a Belgian warmblood ambassador and is the sire of many top international performers such as Domino, Diktator van de Boslandhoeve and HH Azur.
Ophelia’s dam is the half sister to the 1m60 jumping Sparta van het Lindehof and the 1m60 jumping Idi Utopia ridden by Maikel van der Vleuten. In the 3rd dam we find the 1m60 performer Adiand Utopia and the two 1m45 performers Heidi and Jessy Utopia.
This mare is an interesting prospect to jump at the international circuit.
